Steven Robins has been the Head of Strategy at the Canada Infrastructure Bank (“CIB”) since December 2020. In this capacity, Steven leads the strategy team and is responsible for impact measurement, our Investment Framework, our overall portfolio strategy and the identification of new opportunities to achieve the CIB’s priority outcomes.
Before joining the CIB, Steven was the Commercial Program Director for the Ontario Subway expansion at Infrastructure Ontario, where he stood up the commercial team to structure and deliver four planned subway extensions in Toronto and led the team to commence procurements on-schedule.
Prior to joining Infrastructure Ontario, Steven was an Engagement Manager at McKinsey & Company in Toronto, where he led client engagements for electric and gas utilities, and infrastructure clients on energy transition strategy and capital program delivery.
Steven also holds an MBA and a Masters in Public Policy from Harvard University, where he graduated as a Baker Scholar. He also received an Honours Degree in Business Administration from the University of Western Ontario.

À ce titre, il dirige l’équipe chargée de la stratégie et il est responsable de l’évaluation de l’impact, de notre cadre d’investissement, de notre stratégie globale de portefeuille et de l’identification de nouvelles occasions qui nous permettront d’atteindre nos résultats prioritaires.
Avant de se joindre à la BIC, Steven travaillait à Infrastructure Ontario où il dirigeait le programme du prolongement du métro de l'Ontario. Il a formé l'équipe commerciale responsable de la structuration et de la réalisation de quatre extensions de métro prévues à Toronto. Il dirigeait également l'équipe chargée d’amorcer l’approvisionnement dans les délais impartis.
Avant de se joindre à Infrastructure Ontario, Steven était directeur de l’engagement à McKinsey & Company à Toronto. Il dirigeait l’engagement des clients pour les services publics d’électricité et de gaz et des clients d’infrastructure pour la stratégie de transition énergétique et l’exécution de programmes d’immobilisations.
Il est également titulaire d’une maîtrise en administration des affaires et d’une maîtrise en politique publique de l’Université Harvard, où il a reçu la distinction Baker Scholar. Il a également obtenu un diplôme spécialisé en administration des affaires de l’Université Western Ontario.
