Lesley-Ann Ennevor is a trade commissioner at the High Commission of Canada in Jamaica. She leads a number of priority initiatives in her markets of responsibility: Jamaica, Bahamas, Cayman Islands and Turks and Caicos Islands. She has worked across the public and private sectors and is passionate about her pursuits. She currently serves on the Environment Committee of the High Commission of Canada. Her targeted sectors are infrastructure, information and communication technologies and life sciences, with a focus on public-private partnership projects and climate infrastructure initiatives. The Government of Jamaica’s PPP programme is manifest in Jamaica’s economic reform programme (ERP), which encompasses a five-year infrastructure and investment programme. Key sectors for economic growth, which will be targeted for PPPs, have already been identified, and the Development Bank of Jamaica (DBJ) and Ministry of Finance are keen to review the feasibility of partnerships with the private sector and international partners.
