Our workshop series at P3 2023 is a chance to deep dive into key issues impacting the future of P3s in Canadian infrastructure. The thorny issue of risk, the growing complexity of projects and the need to attract a diverse array of qualified proponents is provoking a serious discussion over how public sector thinking is evolving as projects are developed. With the help of a facilitator, workshop participants will tackle 2-3 targeted questions to help inform Council policy objectives as it advocates for change in the sector, reflective of current market conditions. Questions may include: Does Value-for-Money (VfM) still work? What changes are happening in procurement documents and processes and what is still needed? How can the private sector help support capacity issues in government?
